We have recently started practicing in our club such a form of public speaking activity as debate. Debate is a very good tool for training logical thinking, learning disputes and the art of tough negotiations. In the club we organize debates according to Karl Popper's format, which means that two teams of three people compete against each other.  One is the Affirmative, which means that it supports the Basic Statement proposed, and the other one is the Negative, meaning that it confronts the Basic Statement and presents counter-arguments. Their performance is evaluated by two judges.

If you've signed up for the debate, please contact the Education Vice President for more instructions.
