Stage 4 - Support your speech

Goal: 

- to add ‘flesh’ to the speech ‘skeleton’ and make it looking tasty.

How you can do it:

1. Different forms of supporting materials (SM)
- visual aids (handouts, photos and pictures, slide presentations), audio aids…
2. Different types of supporting tools (ST)
- 2 key types: illustrations and underpinning
3. Working on your active vocabulary
- use metaphors and allegories, rhetorical frameworks, etc.

  • Word of the day
  • Book / Film / Art presentation
  • Speech
